I really enjoyed the house tour given by a super knowledgeable tour guide (who handled a noticeably inebriated guest with skill and grace). If you can, start with the short video in the basement, so you already have some idea of who Molly Brown was,...More

This is a highly sought after tour. If you are planning on going, get there early as tickets frequently sell out for the day. Our tour guide was very knowledgable and was able to effectively share Margaret Brown's life with us.

Both the film and the tour give you an delightful insight into the remarkable life of Margaret Brown. If all you have ever see is the movie, then, by all means visit, it will completely give you the true story. There is parking in front,...More

I happened to drive by the house while trying to find my hotel and decided to take a tour. It was wonderful and so worth the time. The house is semi-restored to its former grandeur of the late 1800s/early 1900s. The guide was phenomenal. She...More

This house offers an interesting insight to a woman who is misrepresented in history and movies. The house is located near the capitol. You purchase tickets behind the home in the carriage house. The tour lasted about 45 minutes. Not all the personal belongings and...More

Docent was knowledgeable, but a little dry. The house was decorated for halloween, so you really couldn't experience it as a true house museum. Expected more from a person of such wealth. It was a nioce house, but not anything overly special.

I think Yahweh wanted us to be here: We found a parking space smack dab in front of the place, and got the last two spots available on a tour starting within 5 min. of our arrival. The woman who led our tour obviously cares...More

I visited early on a Saturday morning. The open at 10AM and I was on the first tour. Our tour had about 8 people. They said that they could accommodate 20. The tour behind us had many more participants and I can't imagine that this...More

You can take the free 16th Street shuttle bus most of the way. It will be 5 or 6 blocks after that, but the park in front of the State Capital is interesting and nice.

I would get down town early, go get tickets for the US Mint tour, then go to the Molly Brown house, which is only a short distance (many people walk it) and get tickets for that tour. If you have a long wait in between the... More
