Reading another reviewer's disgust at the worn paint on the carousel animals made me chuckle a little bit, because those carousel animals are old, rare, and VALUABLE. I was happy my kids got to ride on them. The trip to Lakeside was one of the...More

Being on a tight schedule as I drove from St. George, UT. to Denver, CO. earlier the day of my visit, I only had about an hour to visit Lakeside, which was not enough time to fully enjoy the park. Parking outside the park is...More

I took our son here to ride the old, but classic roller coaster and other rides. The place is great for kids and very inexpensive.

Old school amusement park. It teeters on death trap feeling on some of the rides. You can get deals in sunday denver post as well as hotels have discount hotel racks and you can get a discount there as well. It is like a carnival...More

I did enjoy going to this place as it was so old and full of cool things to look at. We rode one ride and thought we were going to need a wheelchair we were so banged up for the roller coaster. Dang, we hurt!...More

We went on a Sunday night, thought this would be a perfect way to end our summer. For a $100 for a family of four, this was super expensive. Especially since some rides were broken down, there is trash all over the place, weeds, muddy...More

I had driven by this place hundreds of times and always wanted to stop in, at least to walk around and see an amusement park along a lake, take a stroll during the sunset or twilight. I went with my daughter, my niece and her...More

This is a very historic park but it is really falling apart and neglected. I don't see how this place can sustain itself for many more years at this rate of neglect. There are rides that have been partially disassembled with just the skeletal remnants...More

We go every year and I grew up going to this park. It is such a rarity and the owners are longtime family members who believe in keeping it open for the public and making it affordable (you can even bring your own food!) If...More

Friendly place that is a bit run down but the people running the rides were friendly and helpful. Something rare when it comes to amusement park employees. The rides are getting old and in need of repair. All in all it was cheap entertainment.
