We found out through our Uber driver that the city of Denver falls a little short of a mile above sea level but that we should check out the marked step at the capital. We had to make a visit and get a picture of...More

We were there on a beautiful day, we enjoyed taking pictures outside and taking in the views. We did park on the street with the parking meters, but it was right across the street, so it was very convenient. We have been there before and...More

Had a great visit here once we found the reception area to register for the tour, so be sure to enter the west side on the first floor level. What a magnificent structure! Plus, our docent was excellent and very passionate about his home state’s...More

While you can't beat free, this tour leaves every hour and teaches visitors a lot about Colorado's history and current politics. We got to sit in on active House and Senate operations as well as see amazing views from the capital's rotunda.

Stop by the visitors desk, and get on a tour. Very interesting about the paintings. The represent what they thought the future would look like. I do think it needs to have more lighting. It was dark.

I came here to visit on March 30, 2018 for the 10am tour. There were about 12-14 people that were already there for the tour. Throughout the tour, keep in mind that as you're on the ground floors, it's a bit hot. Once you go...More

The Capitol is nice and free tours are available. What wasn't impressive is the number of homeless people by the Capitol. It's embarrassment that homeless people are allowed to camp out by the Capitol and does not make for a pleasant experience walking around.
