Good variety of animals,birds, reptiles. Worth a visit; admission for $14. Walkway route a bit confusing but somewhat shady. Not worse or best zoo I have been to.

I don't know if the day of week matters. I went on a Tuesday and was fairly busy with groups of day camp kids. It is better to go early in day as many animals were hiding out from the hot afternoon sun.
