We visited the exhibit on western art including movies. I really enjoyed the beautiful sculptures. We only had two hours, so we didn't explore other exhibits. This museum would take an entire day to view.

The organization of this museum was delightful. Rather than "British Art 1800's", it was "Portraiture" with a range of cultures and periods. There were interactive activities and not just for children. Also quite a few comfortable chairs in which to enjoy tablet videos about works.

My wife and I visited while in Denver. The Western exhibit was excellent and worth the up-cost. Some of the other temporary exhibits were somewhat questionable and really didn't seem worth the time however the permanent exhibits were quite enjoyable.

My wife and I strolled through the Art Museum on our Colorado trip. It was a very nice museum and had a nice collection. The exterior of the building was amazing and parking was free close by.

An interesting building with an odd mixture of topics covered. However, a must see is the native american and central/south American galleries.

Do you know if you bought tickets in advance online for the Star Wars exhibit if you would avoid the long line? Or did everyone wait in the line whether they had tickets or not? Any idea about how long the wait was to get into the exhibit? Thanks for any help!

I'm so sorry I didn't see this earlier. We bought tickets online beforehand. We only waited 10 minutes or so. They monitor how many folks can start the exhibit at a time. Waiting wasn't an issue. Also, you are free to roam... More
