We were in Denver to celebrate a friends 30th ballpark. We had a sign made up for her and we were warmly welcomed by everyone at the gate- they helped us getting pictures and navigating inside. Our friend uses a walker and our seats were not conducive for that so they helped us get to fan accommodation where we got seats in back of the section.
Everyone was very enamored by her celebrating visiting all 30 ballparks. People came over to congratulate her and help with pictures to commemorate her day.
The ballpark is great. The concourses are wide enough and you can see the field from them. There was a nice variety of food options.
Everyone we encountered was exceptional and geared to maximizing fan experience. We have been to all 30 ballparks and this is the friendliest and ranks in top 10

Well, I finally learned what it means to have a low-budget MLB team... But anyway, all the seats are pretty good. It's true that they have actual trees inside the stadium. The Rockies are ok. I got charged 2x for a drink at one of the vendors and didn't notice until I checked my credit card statement a few days later, so that was just great.

Not a bad seat in the house for Rockies games, something for everyone, even on the hottest afternoons you can find a shady spot to have a beer.

This stadium is one of the best to watch a game. The location is just off the busiest tourist street in Denver. This should be a bucket list stadium for all those who travel the country watching ball games. The bonus is the boutique Rally Hotel right across the street.

A huge bowl in 110fahrenheit is almost a nightmare.
went to the Def Leppard an Motley Crue concert her in july. Heat was terrible and access to water and toilets was just not good enough.
Security was not on top of things and you get alot of small scuffles around the venue with overly drunk people switching from seat to seat in search of better seats than what they had. Areas should be more closed of. It was for me a constant hassle of holding my seat and not allowing anyone else to just grab it.
Way to many drunk people and not a good atmosphere at the concert imo.
Would not go back!

Would really recommend doing a tour of Coors Field - even if, like me, you have zero knowledge of baseball. It’s right in the centre of the city, so easy to get to, & the tour offers great value for money. The ball park itself is modern, clean and has some interesting history!

Great tour with a knowledgeable guide- Jim. Visiting from UK my knowledge of baseball is limited but Jim explained and answered any questions I had with patience and good humour. Loved the tour. Was great to wander round and go 'behind the scenes'. I am now the Rockies newest fan!

We were able to walk to the ballpark from our hotel in about 20 mins. The park overall seemed very family friendly - some vendors set up to appeal to children alone. The free sunglasses we were given on entry were appreciated very much.

Coors Field in Denver isn't the newest major league baseball stadium but it is one of the most enjoyable to visit, especially after a night game. The first time my wife and I attended a game at Coors, not long after it opened in 1995, we recalled that it was located in a dilapidated area, underdeveloped area. The only saving graces were it was only two blocks east of Union Station and we were able to walk to and from the park from the Brown Palace Hotel. How things have changed! Located at 20th and Blake Street in the now bustling and vibrant LoDo neighborhood noted for shopping, restaurants, bars, nightlife and entertainment, the home field of the Colorado Rockies is a go-to destination. One unique aspect of Coors is that fans can walk on a concourse that encircles the entire stadium. Fans sitting in the first base and right field areas are treated to a spectacular view of the Rocky Mountains to the west. Most seats are painted dark green but seats in the 20th row of the upper deck are painted purple to mark the elevation of one mile or 5,280 feet above sea level. Remember, Denver is the Mile High City. On this occasion, for a Giants/Rockies night game, we chose to purchase seats in the center field section known as the Rockpile, which is as popular in Denver as the left and right field bleachers are in Chicago's Wrigley Field. Sitting at the very top of the Rockpile reminds me of when I was a student at the University of Illinois and sat on the top row of the upper deck on the east side of Memorial Stadium. The Rockpile is a long distance from home plate and the nearest hot dog strand but the view is breathtaking even if the air can be a bit chilly. After the game, stop at nearby View House Ballpark for a late-night snack. It is one of the most entertaining sports bars in town.

I am planning a trip to Coors Field next July. Planning on booking stay on AirBnb. Was wondering what are the best areas to stay within about 10-15 miles from the ball park. Also looking to do the Coors brewery tour. I know the closer to the park, the more expensive it will be.

Unsure, we stayed at the Renaissance Hotel, would not recommend. If we return we would stay near the Wynkoop Brewery!

How strict are they about a single pocket purse? All my purses have a little pocket inside. That seems standard on most purses.

So I bought tix for the July 2nd game VS my Astros online. I couldn’t get parking though because it said they were sold out of parking passes!! Are there any other lots to park at nearby?? And if so, around how much would they be?? I know a Lyft to/from my hotel to Coors would only be about 26$ both ways.

As with most stadiums the closer you park the more expensive it is. Typically if you park within a block or 2 of ballfield it will run around $25. If you're willing to walk a bit you can find parking for around $10. Hope that helps.

We got tickets the same day. We sat about half way up near 3rd base. I hope they still let you bring in drinks (non alcoholic) and food. They did 2 years ago. We are headed there in July again.
Take the tour if you can. One of the players was sitting in the stands just hanging out and we got his autograph.
