We underestimated how challenging the hike would be. It's definitely a work out. The views were amazing and I was fascinated by the geology of it all.

I signed up for the Denver Mountain tour for myself and my 8 year old twin daughters. We were picked up at our hotel in downtown Denver by our very friendly bus driver. We then went on a wonderfully narrated tour in the surrounding mountains...More

We did a day trip of these three while staying in Denver and had such fun! Hiking at Red Rocks, lunch with wine overlooking the river in Evergreen then back through Golden. Do it!

The Denver Mountain parks include a variety of locations, though all within the mountains. I never let visitors to Colorado go without seeing Red Rocks Amphitheater. In addtiion to its one of a kind setting, it has fabulous views of the city of Denver.

Red Rocks is one fine amphitheater, and a complete experience in itself whether you attend a concert, go for a hike, or visit the trading post. Did you know in the trading post they now have a Colorado Music Hall of Fame? It includes rock...More

I booked this trout with Greyline. I have done several tours with Greyline Tour company all over the country and this was the most disappointing one I’ve been on. Visiting Red Rock was cool, but most of the trip was just driving through the countryside....More

No. I remember our tour guide saying that the bus had to be under a certain length to be allowed on the roads - lots of narrow stretches and hairpin turns. The bus tour is probably your best bet if you don't want to rent a... More
