Like this drive better than Rocky Mountain National Park. Very exposed and very beautiful. Worth the quick drive.

It is a long drive. But a worthy one. Many trails and lakes. Should have spent more time there. Be careful of the wind and the storm.

I have done this drive many times , so many things to see and do. Check out the road up to summit lake one of the highest in US. Very close to Denver also,so you can visit Idaho Spring too or end up in Evergreen!

Wow that is really a long steep crawl for a RV. You would have to stop at the lake and cool down. I would think the RV might be pretty hot at this point in your journey. Good Luck Friend!!!

Same as others said - I saw a small motor home but no vehicles pulling a RV - regular cars have no issues - we own an RV and I personally would not - narrow roads, sharp turns, no guard rails doesn't equal fun to me - do the... More
