A truly fun municipal golf course just outside downtown but still in the city. Indeed, some of the holes have a wonderful view back at the downtown. I was impressed by the quality of the maintenance. We played in the fall which is not the easiest time to keep things up but it was fine. Great value! 3 of us... More

This course is easy enough for beginners and fun for people who know their way around a club. I can't help but mention the incredible views of the city and mountains. Definitely a place I'd go to again.

City Park Golf course has been there since 1912 and playing this course gives you a sense of history. It is laid out east to west so early morning rounds can be a little difficult. The staff are all very helpful . The restaurant in the club house is convenient and reasonable price. 58 bucks for 18 and a two person... More

We were looking for a course that would be fun and not too challenging for some of the players in our group and CPGC was perfect. Wide open with just a few water and sand hazards it plays easy and enjoyable for all. Snack shack is conveniently located so you pass it on multiple holes so you can stay hydrated... More

The Denver City Park Golf Course is on one large city block. It is very well maintained and very attractive for a public course. All the fairways are straight, so you can almost always see the hole in the distance. We had fun playing there. We always just play 9 holes and we recommend the back nine.

Played the course this Monday 3/30/15. A little windy but the course was in great shape nice green grass. The greens were a little "pebbly" but not bad. Hard to play into the setting sun on holes 6 - 9.

City Park Golf Course gets a lot of play and this shows in the course condition; lots of unrepaired ball marks and divots as well as other signs of abuse. Sand is terrible – they should either put actual sand in the bunkers or turn them into grass bunkers. If you know what you are getting into, poor course conditions... More

Greens were in poor shape (September 16, 2014) but more due to unrepaired pitch marks than the recent aeration. Hard to understand why golfers don't repair ball marks within a couple feet of the hole, but we saw it on more than one hole. Greens were shaggy and extremely slow, but perhaps that's intentional to help the very casual/recreational golfer... More

I have to say that I am a fan. While it is not a "resort" course, it is a very very good muni course. Every time I have played it it is in great condition. It is an easy layout and with the 3 par 5's on the back nine it makes it easy to score low. The views of... More

Had an opportunity to play this coure mid week. What a fun little course. It's not overly challenging by any means - fairways are long and narrow, lack of water hazards and sand hazards - but it offered a great game fo rth eprice. Course was in great condition, pro shop was well stocked, drink cart came around at the... More
