This Museum not only features the art of (previously unknown to us) Vance Kirkland, but is a walk through the decorative arts of the 20th century. Extremely well-curated. Note how the lines & color in the art is referenced in the furniture & objects featured...More

There is so much to see here, packed into this new museum. Furniture, glassware and pottery as well as a collection of paintings, many of them by esteemed Colorado artists and craftspeople.

Denver is not a tourist-friendly city. This small gem is walkable from most large hotels in downtown. Well curated, interesting, and unique. GO. Certainly worthwhile.

We loved the furniture, the Colorado-centric art, and the wide variety of small pieces! So many ideas in such a small space.

The new Kirkland is a great addition to Denver's museum row. Be sure to see Kirkland's studio which was transported from its previous location in a fascinating move down city streets. Amazing to see how he painted suspended from a sling to reach his large...More
