Off the beaten path, the Observatory Park neighborhood is a fabulous place to walk. The park itself is nice. A star viewing adventure in the historic observatory is a special treat! Close to the University of Denver.

It is worth your time to make reservations for one of their open nights at the observatory. Bring warm clothes for most nights as it is not heated where the telescope sits. Very interesting history behind the building and the telescope.
Wonderful place to spend a warm day or night. The University of Denver kids are nice and the observatory is charming.
I grew up in this neighborhood and it is a nice area, great park, close to Denver University and the Observatory is pretty super..
Just pure joy with people activity and astronomical night rocks.. DU area brick architecture and beautiful homes everywhere. Wonderful:)
