We came to rent a cabin and enjoy the scenery! And we did just that at Mueller State Park. I would definitely come again and would not hesitate in referring this place to anyone else. We went in April and they were very workable at letting us rent the cabin for only 1 night and it was a price that... More

Mueller State Park is located less than an hour's drive west of Colorado Springs on Highway 67 south. Camping, hiking, horseback riding, nature programs are just some of the amineties available for year-round enjoyment.

We took a chance and drove to the other side of Pikes Peak to Mueller State Park and were very pleased. There are miles of trails that vary from easy to strenuous. The views from the over look trails are amazing, overlooking the continental divide. The park is not crowded. We had the trails to ourselves, except the mule deer.... More

I have an annual pass and live nearby. I just love the wide open vistas of the Sangre De Cristo mountain range. I can visit for an hour or the whole day. Well-maintained hiking trails are uncrowded.

We recently moved to Colorado Springs and were hoping for some great sledding, but due to the mild winter and nice weather, we haven't been able to sled much. Mueller State Park was recommended so we took a drive up there and it was great. The drive is nice, the park is great, and they have 4 different sledding hills... More

It was nice to see the snowy grounds, the place was not too far off the main road and everything looked maintained well. Lots of great views and scenery

Camped for two nights in October while sight seeing the area. Camping spots were clean level enough, a little small but with steep terrain it is understandable. Rangers were nice and wanting to help with anything. Very nice. Lots to do in the area 20 minutes away. Great place to stay if you really don't want to stay in town.

My wife and I came here for our anniversary and rented a cabin. This was definitely one of our best anniversary getaways for me. The scenery is awesome and in just a short hike there are many breathtaking views. We always bring our kids here whenever we are in the area.

We visited Mueller state park with few expectations. Family was surprised to find a great area for hiking and enjoying the natural beauty of CO. The park center provided nice interpretive displays and ample parking, too.
