Amazing, i learnt so much about wolves. Watching them eat, howling, playing, just amazing. Great place to learn about the conservation of wolves, super friendly staff, amazing visit. Highly recommended. Wheel chair accessible, might be a bit scary for little ones at feeding time, wolves have a tendencyfancy to growl a bit! But a great educational visit.

I was staying in Denver when a friend happened to mention this place to me. It was a two hour drive to get here, and it was very much worth the trip. The Colorado Wolf and Wildlife Center was the highlight of my most recent trip to this state. The short version of this review is: "Go there. If you're... More

I am always a little unsure of "meet the animal" experiences as you so often see the animals being exploited and subdued etc so I don't often do them but I did lots of research into this place and it seemed to have the animal's interest at heart so signed up for the tour and the meet the wolves experience.... Enjoyed the tour and viewing of the wolves and coyotes. Dress in layers because the weather can change quickly up there. Staff is helpful and friendly. Worth the trip.

The weather was beautiful and we were surrounded by wolves. We made reservations for the alfa tour and it was life changing. I wish there was another way to help the wolves besides enclosures but I am afraid this is the best we have for now

This was such an incredible experience, I don't even know where to begin. The people that work and volunteer here are so passionate and wonderful, it's inspiring. And the wolves? There are no words to describe how incredible they are. They are absolutely breathtaking. We consider ourselves pretty knowledgeable on them, but we still walked away taking SO much more... More

My girls and I are animal lovers so it was only natural that we would visit the Colorado Wolf and Wildlife Sanctuary. Together with my Mom(in-law) we toured the sanctuary in about 1.5hrs. Through very professional and educated staff- Killena and Fish- we learned about the plight of ALL wolf species. They have awakened a need to see all wolves... More
