We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived due to only one other couple booked for the day. This meant our tour guide Jay could take us in a van rather than a large bus. We both recommend asking for Jay. Laid back and unscripted, he painted a great picture of Pueblan ancestors. In fact, when we stopped, other tourists came... More

My wife, my daugter and I joined Mild to Wild's jeep tour from Silverton to the relics of mining in the surroundings and to the marvellous nature. Unlike in other times of the year when the tour is mostly focused on a ghost town we were taken to an even more spectacular sight: The blossoming of the wild flowers at... More

Lucky you! Hitting the peak wildflower season and the peak leaf changing season is so amazing and makes the trip even more spectacular. Thanks for sharing your experience with others. We really do appreciate it! More

My husband and I took a jeep trip from Durango with Mild to Wild and it was fantastic. Our guide Frank is a local to Durango and was an incredible wealth of information and kept it fun and full of laughter. We rode the bus from Durango to Silverton on the million dollar hwy. where we boarded an open air... More

Jay, with Mild and Wild, picked us up at the Durango train station and went on a beautiful drive to Silverton, where we transferred to a four-wheel drive vehicle. As we were the only passengers that day, being the end of the season, he was able to customize the tour and we had a great time! Saw some great scenery... More

A once in a lifetime experience made even better by tour guide Jay. On rather rugged road in an open air Jeep, Jay made us feel safe along with sharing his knowledge of the area. I highly recommend for anyone coming to the Durango area. Ask for Jay as tour guide.

Appreciated the driver phoning shortly before departure time to make sure we weren't having any difficulty finding the departure point, which we were. We travelled by bus from Durango to Silverton where the 4x4 adventure began. The driver of the bus was also our 4x4 driver. The Aspen trees were in full color and the drive stopped several times for... More

We had Jay as our guide for the Mesa Verde all day tour. His energy, spirit and extensive knowledge were excellent. As he explained the areas we visited, other tourists gathered around to listen and ask questions. We were proud to share. We highly recommend Mild to Wild and especially Jay.

This trip was amazing and the scenery was so beautiful. We took the shuttle from Durango to Silverton and Doug was our guide, he was very knowledge and has a great sense of humor, he gave us great tips as to where to eat or go visit and pointed out interesting things along the way, once we got to Silverton... We took a family rafting trip down the Lower Animas at the end of July and had an overall disappointing experience. Rafting during the late summer means low water levels, so instead of big rapids, you have to be ready to create your own fun. We were in a raft with a guide who was worn out from long hours... More

We are so sorry you were disappointed in the safety precautions we needed to enforce on our trip. Back flipping out of the boat into very shallow water is dangerous and not following the guides directions endangers others as well. We love fun and adventure (that is why we do what we do), but above all, safety of our guests... More

We were in Durango Colorado and wanted to take a rafting trip. A few of the companies were closed for the season but we finally found Mild to Wild and they were still taking people out on the river. The staff there, Emma and Don in particular were very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable and we felt very safe with our... More
