This trail follows the river through town, and while you are in the heart of town, you feel like you are surrounded by nature as well. Nice for an afternoon get-away. I would give it 5 stars, but there are some shady looking people hanging...More

Walking along the colors of fall on both sides of the river trail is a very enjoyable and easy morning stroll to see downtown Durango in the eyes of nature and not as a tourist. Enjoy!

Went for morning runs from downtown (2 blocks) along the river. Both directions beautiful. Weather was very nice even in August.

You can walk along the town of Durango, a small park. There are a couple of bridges to walk over the river. Very calm, quiet, relaxing. Highly recommend

I walk the trail every morning when I am in Durango. It is very peaceful. Beware of the bears early in the morning

It's paved and meanders along the river for walking amd biking. We stayed away from the downtown section due to homeless people and reports of late night brawls. It's a nice walk. Although pretty, it's not picturesque like million dollar highway.

Took a nice walk after a long day on the road. Nice walk and not overly crowded. We did not do the whole trail because of time we arrived. What we saw was very nice.

Unfortunately my wife and I were not able to spend a lot of time on the trail as it was beginning to rain, but we did really enjoy the walking trail! The trail also had one of the best children's playgrounds we had ever seen!...More
