There are great walking paths on both sides of the river all the way through town, Great for fly fishing, rafting and tubing. Many rafting companies available int town.
Magnificent natural river providing inspiring views. Cutting through the landscape and shaping futures for locals and visitors. Adventure awaits in the cool waters.
Grew up around the Animas and fished here as a boy in the 70s. I can't say enough about this jewel of the Rockies, the Rainbow Trout and memories it still evokes.
