I am very sorry you did not have a good experience with us. Please rest assured that we are constantly cleaning and disinfecting our facility, and our “camp counselors” are doing their best to make sure every dog gets plenty of attention and play time....More

Riding the Durango & Silverton Train - But you have your furry little one with you!

Have no worries - Healthy Hounds and Fat Cats love to take care your your pets like they are their own. The also have a extended pet car service for those riding the train. Their office is right down the street from the dog park.

Easy Experience

We used them to board our 20 lb dog when we rode the Durango Silverton Railroad for the day. Easy to deal with and reasonable boarding rate.

Healthy Hounds and Fat Cats Rocks

We left our dog Lyra, an overly friendly German Shepherd Dog with the wonderful people at Healthy Hounds & Fat Cats while we were recently on vacation in Durango. They were very helpful and took great care of our baby!! Thanks guys
