Drive several miles back from the town of Fraser to reach the trail head for Byers Peak. Easy hike about 3 hours to the summit. Go early so you are headed back home by 2pm.

Great hike. Nice challenge at the top. It gets a little Rocky, but still easy to accomplish with no ropes required. Take some bikes up to the bike rack! About 1.3 miles of the trail is bike friendly. Once your on your way down this...More

Moderate hike to Byers Peak around 9 miles round trip using an old logging road, then a trail. Outstanding views of the continental Divide from the top. We saw Mountain Goats up top!
