We did this hike 3-4 times this winter. It is quiet and fun at the top. You can do up and down or we finally found how to do a 3-4 mile loop. Just be careful to go back to the parking lot you came...More

Our son and his wife took us here for a short hike because of its easy terrain good for us “mature” adults. Good restroom facilities at the trail head and plenty of parking most days. Close to Red Rocks and Dinosaur Ridge as well.

Had a nice time walking the Red Rocks and Morrison Slide trails. There were some hills to go up, but not too challenging even for this flatlander from Florida. Found some GeoCaches along the way. Some Caches seemed sketchy since they were off the trail...More

We started on Red Rocks trail and got out there to where Cherry Gulch trail is. I recommend taking Cherry Gulch trail. It's a little more elevation and rocky with switch backs. When you get to the top you can see a nice view of...More

Great place for a moderate hike. The usual loop from the parking lot around the hill that meets up with the Red Rocks trail on the west is about 5 miles round trip. It's totally doable for kids and dogs love it too. The stream...More

Enjoyed a full moon hike here in June. There is plenty of parking and bathroom facilities. Hiking trail was a good one for full moon hike. Not too steep and great view of the area and of course the moon.

I've been running and hiking in this park since the early 1990's. With all the many loops and options you can do as much or as little as you like. The big loop includes climbing the plateau on the west side of the road and...More

One of the closest natural trail near Denver, right out off I70 exit. Nothing spactacular but it great for a pleasant weekend walk. Ends in the spectacular Red Rocks amphitheater.

This is a great place to get outdoors, even with little ones. There's some beautiful scenery along the way and you'll get a decent workout. Great views when you get up higher.
