The animal and plant imprints from the Jurassic or whenever are well labeled. Ho hum unless you happen to be interested in that time frame.

This place is a wonderful place to take kids that have any interest in dinosaurs. It gives you a nice place to get outdoors and see things that you would not be able to otherwise. This is a must see while in the area.

This is a neat short trail, next to a golf course, that features several dinosaur tracks and other trace fossils (palm leaf imprints, bird tracks, various other critter trails). There is currently construction going on in the area so the best access seems to be...More

Unfortunately construction near the trail had them open up a temporary trailhead. We tried going that way instead but it was frankly an overgrown dirt trail that felt more like walking on the side of a road so we turned back.

Doesn't take long to finish this short and easy trail, but it offers some interesting features. A small gorge cuts into the rock formation revels some geollogical features.

this was a good trail to take my 3 kids (age 3-12) on. Was not too bad of a walk but can be difficult to get to since the normal start of the trail is underconstruction to widen the highway. But the actual dinosaur tracks...More

We did a combo: Dinosaur Ridge and Triceratops Trail later. If you go see one you should go see the other. If you are big on dinosaurs and/or geology I would add in the Morrison Museum. All three sites tell a paleontological and geological story...More

Just off Highway 93, an easy walking trail where you can see displays/points if interest explaining the geological history of the area & Colorado. A nice walk!

An "out and back" trail, a bit difficult to find if you don't know where you're going. If you go W. on 19th to 6th, you'll come to a cemented bike path, which if you continue on for a short time you'll come to a...More

We visited the Triceratops Trail after going to Dinosaur Ridge and it's just as great! The casts and impressions were amazing--I especially loves the fossilized raindrop splashes. Definitely worth the short walk!!
