Typically, we play Pole Creek or Grand Elk, but both were closed at the end of October and Granby Ranch was open. The course is set out in a valley on the front nine. It's OK, a little better than country club up and back. The views are nice. The back nine is like a 10 minute drive down a... More

Over the years, my wife and I have traveled with many friends to Granby Ranch (SolVista) to ski during the winter holidays with our kids and grandchildren. This resort is just right for young children and new skiers as the blue and green runs are just long enough to challenge a beginner. Once Granby runs are no longer challenging then... More

We've tried to play this course twice. Both times, we made on-line tee times and when we showed, our times weren't honored. Yesterday, we drove from Denver to Grandby to find a shotgun start double-booked at our tee time. On both occasions, the guy behind the front desk could hardly muster, "I'm sorry". The clubhouse is a long-term doublewide and... More

Granby Ranch does not own any rentals but if you book thru them they charge a $10.00 booking fee. Then the Resort Management Group handles the rental and charges a $10.60 booking fee. So, $20.60 just to book the condo. I complained and was told by both Granby Ranch and Resort Management Group 'that is just the way it is'.... More

We came here for the day as part of our four day Mountain bike trip to Winter Park. Granby Ranch is thirty minutes, or 20miles North of Winter Park. Its a privately run resort that partners with the Headwater Trails Alliance to create community trail connections, as well as donating to the Grand Foundation to improve the quality of living... Great outdoor grill and the food was fabulous! I had Pulled Pork with cold slaw and it was very good. Reasonable. Good patio seating.

Just returned from a friends wedding at Granby Ranch. We met at the base and they shuttled us up to the top via chair lift. Once we were seated, we had a view that was second to none. The backdrop for the ceremony was as good as it gets. The PA could have been improved and the walk from the... More

We stayed up the road at The Mountainside, so can't comment not the accommodations. But, we did go to Base Camp 1 to ride the ski lift and hike back down. Great value, compared to Winter Park. $5.00 per person for a 3-day lift pass. Can't beat that value! New lift, and great hiking trails back down to the lodge.
