Each year our family plans an after Christmas ski trip to Ski Granby Ranch. We stay at Base Camp One and prefer condos on the mountain side where you can watch the skiers coming down the hill and jumping on the lift, which is just...More
Ski area had several issues; including a death and a serious injury. I have a great deal of safety concerns, at one point they had a rouge mountain lion on property. The golf course does not even have a club house and it is always...More
We came here 10 years ago and never left. Originally we wanted to find a nice place to get away for the skiing on the weekends, but in Granby Ranch, we found a place where we can be active all year round, including “Mud Season.”...More
Great for family skiing. We have gone there for 7-8 years both for Harb lessons and as a family vacation. Harb held his classes there until recently. The local accommodations were always very clean and allowed easy access to the slopes. The lunch menu was...More
I had a great experience golfing at Granby Ranch. Located just outside of the town of Granby, at 8100 feet. A total new experience for me in terms of no trees, some water, blind hits, and some bunkers. The fairways are sculpted, and unbelievable views....More
Tried the Granby Ranch golf course and it consists of two nines (one in the meadows and one in the hills). The course is rough around the edges. Practice facility was okay with poor range balls. The toilets were just pit (chemical) toilets (disappointing). Gas...More
The ski school was a complete joke. I have been skiing all of my life and decided to try snowboarding. I booked an adult lesson 3 weeks in advance and kids lesson for an 8 and 11 year old. We get there and they don't...More
This is truly a gem for families! We came in late March with our two young children and couldn’t have dreamt of a better place for them to learn how to ski. Both girls were in ski school the entire week and loved it. It...More

I would take hwy 70 west bound to hwy 40. You will go through the erthoundPass, past Winter Park, through Fraser, Through Tabernash, go Past YMCA Ski Ranch. Granby Ranch is on the right outside of Granby Town. You will turn right on Village (lots of signs and before you get to the stop light where the Grocery Store/Starbucks/McDonalds is located on the left). Follow the road about 3/4 mile and on your right will be the Lodge entrance, before you get to Base Camp. The drive is easy and goes fast. The pass if snowing can be difficult or closed if really bad, but we didn't even have 4 wheel drive and did ok going through the pass while snowing.
