I have gone past this museum for years! It is right off the main highway to and from many destinations on US 40. Take the time to go to this little museum. You will learn a lot about Grand County and the area! Thank you volunteers!

This museum reflects the pride and love of the people of Grand County. The museum has an extensive collection of photos, clippings and items from the pioneer days to the present. it also has several buildings from the early days of the area. The attendants are especially helpful and well-informed. And the fee is low enough to make you want... More

I have visited the hot springs in Hot Sulphur several times throughout the years and never made it to this fantastic site. Tim, the friendly curator was happy to answer all of our questions and had extensive knowledge of the area and its history. The displays were very interesting and the artifacts were awesome. Great value for a $5 ticket.... More

Stopped for a visit because my train loving son saw two train cars in the front. You can actually get in the caboose which was pretty neat. We paid the super cheap admission/donation $7 for us both and explored the pioneer village and museum. Very well organized museum with a helpful gentleman at the front desk. Their was an old... As Grand County residents, we often recommend this museum to our lodging guests who are making a day trip to Hot Sulphur Springs. The museum tells the story of how and why each of the county's towns came to be. Inexpensive and enjoyable.

We were honored guests for being the first tourists to contact the chamber so we received t-shirts, had our picture taken, and free admission into the museum. If you like history of small town areas, this is the place to stop. Tim will be of great assistance with any questions you have. Also, if you are into railroad history, this... More

This Musume is a treasure. This standard of quality in a local musume is not often found. The staff was friendly and very knowledgeable. Locals who's families are a part of history. Displays where beautifully done. We will be back. Had to buy some of the local history books.

We loved this museum. It was just like walking into an old western town. The dolls museum was fascinating as was the saloon and Sheriffs office. A really good day.
