Great ski resort. Has some nice challenging runs! Love that there tend to be less crowds than some of the other resorts in the area.

This is a locals resort but they are super friendly. The most fun was planning a last minute Memorial Day weekend trip to Breckenridge only to find that three feet of snow fell the week before. Sure, the bottom first thing in the AM is...More

A-basin. Yes. You have access to hike any peak, well above 11K ft. The chutes are great. The hike to the peak is gradual, not aggressive. Great Bowl to ski, nice cornices. Continental Divide spot. Skiing in April, all of May, maybe a weekend in...More

Late season skiing in the Rockies! I can't think of anything bad to say, because there isn't. Even tho the base was slush and slow, (which is to be expected late season) the place was still well-maintained and up near the summit was still a...More

Close to Denver and the only resort that remains open till late in the season. Agree with all the recommendations: More of a "locals" place but welcomes EVERYONE!

Came up to enjoy some Spring skiing and it was epic! First two days were great but then we got 20" of fresh powder so last two days were unbelievable. A-Basin season pass is $170ish for military so you can't beat the value. Food is...More

We visitied A-Basin in late April for some spring riding and I cannot say enough good things about this place. It is an easy (weather permitting...) <10 minute drive up from Keystone towards Loveland Pass. Being atop the continental divide, and at a higher elevation...More

There is a cafeteria at the base and another one in the mid-mountain lodge which has some special entrees for lunch.

No, there isn't any lodging at the resort. If you stay in Summit County you can take a free shuttle to the base area. Keystone Resort is your closest bet.
