What a beautiful hike! Amazing from start to finish. This two mile + hike includes awesome overlooks and serene meadows. Although the hike is relatively easy don't underestimate the amount of energy it will take on a hot day. The vistas start right at the...More

Trail is an easy walk through varying terrain. Most in full sun so be aware of temps. Interesting contrasts of red rock formations and vegetation. All ages would enjoy the trail.

This is great place that few people know about. My 6 yr old daughter and I love to go here and walk around. there are both flat surfaces and inclines.

There are multiple trails to choose from of all lengths and difficulty. Some have more shade (can be important), some with more view. Most any time of day a hat is helpful. Parking is at a premium. On a busy nice weekend day, get there...More

We were supposed to be going on a short hike, but ended up doing a 9 mile loop. Definitely wear your sunblock, as there isn't much shade on the trail. Great views, and I agree with others, it's less crowded. FYI, dogs not allowed.

You feel like your way out in the wilderness but actually your only minutes from the greater Denver metropolitan area. Lots of locals don't even know about the place and you would have to be well informed as a tourist to find it. Don't let...More

I liked the park as it was less crowded than Garden of the Gods. It was $7 to gain entry to the park for the day. We were only there a short while as we aren't big hikers/walkers since my partner had a knee replacement...More

One of our favorite local getaways. The same type of red rock formations as the more famous Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs. It’s a state park, so you need either a Colorado parks pass or a daily entrance fee. About $5 per vehicle,...More

There is not a tram ride around the park. For older visitors, you might try the Fountain Valley Trail - that is considered one of the easiest, but please keep in mind this is a real hiking trail - not a paved walk. For... More

Hi. If you have a State park pass you can get in for free, if not it is a daily fee of $8.00 . Be prepared to have cash on hand in case no one is at front booth then you have to place in a slot. It's worth the beauty. Hope... More

I think there is a park nearby that is closed but Roxborough was alive and well when we visited in September. Mike
