Great place to hike. The scenery is beautiful. You can bring your dogs. And hiks here year round. Just watch out for snakes.

Easy basic hike with some seclusion and great desert flora and fauna. Hit it right and You'll see a prairie rattled. Views are medium and the terrain is runable.

I love to hike to the Keyhole rock. View from the rock is spectacular. When friends and relatives visit, it is a hike which can easily be done in an hour. The backbone rock formation is unique.

An amazing early morning walk at sunrise or sunset. Beautiful and haunting. One of the best parts of the foothills

We visited at sunrise to get some good photos. There is a short loop trail which is wheelchair accessible and a long trail for runners, hikers and bicycles. The views are great.

I've only seen dogs on leashes - but it doesn't mean everyone abides the law.
