Wonderful venue, get there early for the best standing room only "seats". Great sound, bar services were lacking, but made it work.

Cool venue, great bands! We have a good time every summer, if you haven't been you need to see a concert here!

We went there for Joan Jett to see the concert. It winded up being a biker rally. People were rude and obnoxious. There was outfits that were almost pornographic being sold. The venue was laced with an odor of Marijuana, piss and beer. We left in the first 5 minuets. DO NOT TAKE YOUR FAMILY HERE. It was disgusting. They need to advertise that it's not a concert but a biker rally. We would have never went.

Nice outdoor amphitheatre connected with Thunder Mountain Harley Davidson dealership. Hold 5000 so every grass area or seat is a good one. Great speaker system. Saw Trace Atkins on a Sunday. Too country for biker crowd

My family recently attended a summer block party concert (Flo Rida, MKTO and Ryn Weaver) here sponsored by a local radio station. We loved this venue at Thunder Mountain Amphitheater in Loveland! We prefer low crowds and space to breathe, easy in and easy out, locations where we don't have to wait in line for hours before a concert. This fit our needs perfectly.

I can't comment on acoustics because we're not that particular - we just enjoy the atmosphere and have fun with the music. But everything else was great, and you can't beat the beautiful sky and mountain views. This venue is next door to Thunder Mountain Harley Davidson and it's an outdoor theater with standing room at the stage and a gently sloped grassy knoll where you can bring blankets and sit on the hill to watch the concert.

Our show started at 7 pm and the gates to the venue opened at 6 pm. We arrived at 5:35 and followed the parking attendants' directions to a great parking spot right near the entrance. Parking is free. There was a line forming but it wasn't too bad at that point. You have to obtain a wristband if you want to purchase alcoholic beverages inside (there's a tent for ID checks outside the gate, and a security guard was walking the line to mark an X on the hands of anyone without a wristband). Gates opened right on time and there was a quick security check (you can't bring any outside food or drink, backpacks, chairs, etc - basically you can bring a blanket, purse, and camera and that's about it). Security was plentiful and people seemed well behaved. There was a mix of families and groups of friends. Smoking seemed minimal compared to other Colorado outdoor venues like Red Rocks.

We grabbed one of the picnic tables at the top of the hill and set up our blanket next to it. There are food trucks and beverage tents surrounding the top of the hill (Pizza Hut, a burger shop, wraps, beer, pop, and a few liquors). Food was pretty good. Port-a-potties were located along both sides of the venue and there was never a huge line :-). I saw a few strollers so I'm sure you could attend at least on the upper portion of the hill with a stroller or wheelchair.

I don't believe this particular concert was sold out but we never felt crowded, claustrophobic, or unsafe. At the end of the concert, we walked a few minutes to our car and made an easy exit home. No long lines!

All in all, this was a great place for a smaller, casual concert. Prices here were superb, much less than big venues in Denver.
