Ride up Pike’s Peak. Don’t drive. The views from the cog way are splendid. Relax and enjoy the vistas. Chase marmots atop a 14,000 ft peak. It is a morning or afternoon well spent. But, take a jacket!

This is an amazing trip to the top of Pikes Peak. It is a learning experience also. There are points of interest and history pointed out and a brief stop on the way to the top.

This is a slow trip, up and especially back down. While it is scenic, it was not the breath-taking beauty I had anticipated. I'm not big on experiencing things with a crowd of people and this is a packed tourist attraction. All that aside, it...More
