Take a trip back in time when you enter the star theater. A bag of popcorn, a soda, and pillows in the back of the truck - takes me back to childhood.

Had to wait to get in but worth it. How much fun is this on a family vacation. A real piece of history which is a must.

We love going to the drive in! We occasionally have relatives from out of town and we take them there. We tailgate our dinner/snacks and the kids sit in the back of the pick-up and the adults sit in lawn chairs and visit till the movie starts. It's great to watch a movie under the stars!

We had a great time at the Star Drive Inn! We brought blankets and pillows to snuggle in the front seat of the car. We did use the over the window speaker for nostalgia but with the bugs, we opted for the radio station as per the theater signs. We enjoyed popcorn and drinks at the snack bar and reall... More

Going to the Star drive-in is one of my family's favorite local things to do. Prices are reasonable (kids [under 12, I think] get in free!) the concessions are great and the movie always a double feature!

We love the movies and just won't spend the money to go to the theatre. But the Drive-In is a an ok value ($32 for our family of four), but we can have dinner while we're there. Basic diner-style food has a great nostalgic hint to it. Staff is always friendly and helpful and the movies are current faves. If... More

Awesome! Bring lawn chairs and blankets, it was so nice. Very inexpensive, I took my three nieces and nephews and they were all free. Paid $8 for all of us. Great night out.

My grandsons loved the drive-in. We ate our meal at the snack bar. We watched the 4th of July fireworks from our parked car. This was a rare treat. The weather was perfect...no mosquitoes.

Drive In theaters are few and far between these days. Montrose Co. is very lucky to have there very own, This Drive In has been owned and maintained by the same family for at least two generations. I found it to be clean and in very good repair., bringing great entertainment for the whole family.

Visiting this drive inn was the highlight of our visit to Montrose. This is such a cute little drive inn; they still have the little side radios that hang on your car! It's clean and laid out extremely well. The blonde lady who sold us our tickets was so nice! She was another highlight of our trip. My husband and... More
