The museum is small (it's In a historic waterworks building) but it packs in a lot of history. Pagosa Springs was not a mining town, but was a logging and ranching area. Real pioneer families, hardy people who homesteaded the mountains with an ax and...More

This little museum is a nice collection of local history artifacts, and well worth the stop. The gift shop is also a blast from the past - hand-made items, and those stencils you can iron on to white tea towels to embroider. The lady at...More

Great little museum with interesting items. We spent less than an hour. It was worth the donation. We are grateful for the volunteers willing to open this collection to the public. The quilts demonstrated marvelous workmanship. Great little western museum jam packed.

It had a lot of stories about Pagosa Springs. We enjoyed it tremendously. We urge people to go see it got themselves. You won't be disappointed.

This is a great spot to slow down for a while. Despite its small size, it is very well represented. The volunteer was fun to chat with and she really knew her stuff. Good stop!

This is a small museum run by a local organization. Not interesting for children (no hands-on kids exhibits), but very interesting for adults who want to see actual items that were used years ago in the area. There are farm items, industrial lumber and mining...More
