Short walk around a nice well kept river with water features, statues and restaurants around it. I think it was only about a mile and you finish it rather quick. Easy parking near by and it's down town so it's nice to stroll before or after dinner.

Near downtown, nice area to walk or take the dog. We went on a pretty cold day, so it was a short walk, but still pretty nice. It is close to the roads, so some noise depending on the time of day. Pretty clean and well maintained.

We were just passing through Pueblo and stopped here for what we thought would be just a short stroll and a quick lunch. We were amazed at how beautiful the Riverwalk is. It's all done with beautiful attention to detail and good taste. The artwork and landscaping is beautiful and everything was spotlessly clean. If you're passing through Pueblo don't miss spending some time here.

This is a short riverwalk in Pueblo. The route isn't long, and it's an easy walk. Not much there though. A few places to eat nearby and grab a drink. Overall this wasn't impressive. A little dirty and some sketchy locals in the area and along the way. Overall, this was just "meh" but something to do in an area without much to do.

The Riverwalk was very clean when we were there. Weather was great. Good mile walk around the entire area. Waterfalls nice to hear as you walk. Boats weren't running but that was ok. We enjoyed the walk.

Stroll along the riverwalk, enjoy the atmosphere, a drink, a bite to eat, the shops! Definitely worth the visit and parking is easy. There are plenty of places and itâs clean and safe to walk in the evening

We were pleasantly surprised to discover the quaint historic section of Pueblo. The riverwalk allows for a leisurely stroll through the area. There are bronze statues, bridges and seating along the way. A ride on a riverboat is an option, too. Stop and have a meal or drink at the popular Brues Alehouse.

Beautiful walk, has makers for power walking but itâs narrow in spots and has many people just slowly walking & enjoying statues/art work along the river. Great spot to spend an afternoon, maybe grab a bite to eat at a restaurant along the water. So relaxing.

nice walk around the park. This definitely falls short of San Antonio, but it's a nice walk around the park if you happen to be visiting the area. We also stopped for drinks at Brues Alehouse and walked around twice while waiting for our table.

How long has the Pueblo river walk been in existence?

The Grand Opening for the Riverwalk was October 6th, 2000.
How long does the river walk stay lit for? Since I work graveyards I stay up in nights and sleep in the day. So this brings me to my second question. Can you get in trouble for walking in the nights like past 1 am

How long is the river walk in Pueblo CO?

It's more like a tad over 1 mile, and you can easily shorten it in several places by going up a sloping walkway onto an overpass or bridge. The 5-mile loop you're looking may be the Arkansas River Trail which is a different trail along a 50+ mile length of the Arkansas River. The downtown Riverwalk is a diversion of the Ark R along parts of its original course and is a beautiful stroll anyday of the week, anytime of the year.

Can I walk it in the evening
Pat D
Hutchinson, KS109 contributions
Yes, We walked in the evening. It is fairly well lit. There is quite a bit of foot traffic, especially on weekends. We are from out of town and felt very safe walking at dusk/ night. On weekends, it appears that some of the bars have live bands right by the River walk. We saw families with strollers, dog walkers, and joggers. out and about.

is there safe parking nearby? Thanks

I would say be careful and watch your surroundings. Many things close early so there really isn't much nightlife on the river walk. There seemed to be plenty of parking on the street level.
What does it mean "closed on Sunday's"?
Is that just for the boat tours or am I unable to walk with my wife and dog freely along the river

I am not sure about the schedule of the boats but I do know that you are welcome to walk the Riverwalk 7 days a week!! It is a wonderful walk.....I hope you enjoy it.
How much does it cost for the ride?
