The River walk in Pueblo is not a real river but a concrete culvert that stinks to high heaven, Water gets nasty in the warmer months and stinks, not really any attractions to see there.

Free for all to enjoy! Great paths vendors for ice cream and best of all paddle boats and inexpensive to higher end boat cruises. Free concerts! Shopping for all bugets. Restaurant overlooking the River.

This 1.5 mile meandering paved trail follows the Arkansas river in town. Restaurants along the way and easy access to the Main Street. It was being dredged for cleaning when I was here but it still made for a nice walk.

I have been during all seasons and I have yet to be disappointed. There is a cute little trail that enables you to follow the river around and be comfortable. There is a Veteran's Bridge that crosses over the river which commemorates those who served...More

There is something for everyone at the Riverwalk no matter what season. Art crawls, coffee shops, dining, wine, cigars, just walking, entertainment, and street fairs!! Luv it

Go for a calzone at Angelo's on the Riverwalk...spring and summer afternoons on the patio are the best. Staff is friendly and the food is excellent.

Not a must see but very surprising for small town, fishing in the middle of town, how often do you see that?

We've been on the riverwalk many times over the years but had never been on it at night. We had eaten dinner at Graham's Grill and decided to take a walk for awhile. It was chilly and I was glad we had our coats. The...More

It's more like a tad over 1 mile, and you can easily shorten it in several places by going up a sloping walkway onto an overpass or bridge. The 5-mile loop you're looking may be the Arkansas River Trail which is a different... More

Yes, We walked in the evening. It is fairly well lit. There is quite a bit of foot traffic, especially on weekends. We are from out of town and felt very safe walking at dusk/ night. On weekends, it appears that some of... More

Hi Sherry O, there are no shops on the actual walk, only restaurants. If you go on to S.Union Street, there are lots of very eclectic shops and some nice coffee shops😊
