We decided to splurge for a night at the hot springs to relax and unwind. Unfortunately while napping in our room someone kept knocking on our door asking us if we wanted massages. If we wanted them, we would have booked them. When we didn't...More

I did a two week tour of Colorado Hot Springs. Of the dozen or so Hot Springs I visited, this was by far the most relaxing. It is a really lice location, nestled in the mountains. You can have rooms here. The water is drinkable...More

Orvis is - again - the restful place it was B.B., "before Bruce," the rude employee. All employees are super friendly and helpful. Sadly, the shooting range across the way is a "pain in the ears." However, it is not in operation 24/7 and soon...More

There are pools for all types here at Orvis, my favorites are the lobster pot and the cold dip. The grounds are amazing, something out of a Better Homes and Gardens "Best Of" edition, flowers grow here that look more suited for a tropical climate....More

The gardens were absolutely lovely!! There were several pools, a VERY hot soaking tub, and a sauna. The staff was friendly. The outside pool is clothing optional. I can't see why anyone would stay indoors on a lovely day.

There are stairs from the "main" entrance...but there is a "back door" entrance from the camping area. Give the friendly folks a call and they will make your stay happen. Enjoy!

You would need to fly to Denver or Grand Junction to rent a car. No Amtrak up there. hotels depends on your budget. I would of course check TripAdvisor. I stay at Chipita Lodge. You can also try Airbnb.
