Captain Zipline is now an Adventure Park! Come and play in our canyon on our best-in-the-west Canyon Aerial Course ... Fly across our ziplines while on the Lost Canyon Zipline Tour ... Or climb the cliffs while attached to a safety tether on our Via Ferrata Courses! Captain Zipline has created an amazing "jungle gym" in the canyon--a challenge course with elements such as swinging bridges, tightropes, cargo nets, balance beams, a trapeze, etc. The tour has over 100 elements with courses that are rated like those of the ski resorts--from entry level to black diamond! Guests can now book the Canyon Aerial Course and Zipline tours online. We also have a new Visitor's Center, located only about 1 mile from the Park. This Center is our NEW Meeting Place for ALL TOURS: 1500 County Road 45, Salida, CO 81201.

This was an impromptu visit to Captain Ziplines, and it was fantastic! The whole family did the aerial course. It was fun, challenging, and so exciting. Our kids were pretty fearless before, and now they know that they can do anything if they put their minds to it. And even though the course is completely amazing, the team tops it... More

We went with another family as part of our spring break trip. We had a great time! Derek and Monty were great guides. The friendly banter between them was comical. They pointed out interesting sights on the short hikes between lines and were very encouraging to everyone. Safety was a top priority to them, but they even made that fun.... More

It's a real honor to leave the 500th review for Captain Zipline (and I'm told I get a free koozie out of the deal), so I'll try to do this justice. We did the classic zipline tour and were really pleased. The guides definitely took their time to make sure all participants were well-prepped to go on the course, but... More

We had a great time at Captain Zipline! Our guides were knowledgable and entertaining! Each zipline gets faster as you progress through the park. The guides taught us about our surroundings on the short hikes between lines. Keep your eyes open for Bighorn sheep! Breathtaking views! I will do it again in an instant! Can't wait to return during the... More

We went in November with 2 families (adults and kids from 9-16 year old). We did the ropes courses, but not the zippiness. Our guide, Derek, was awesome. He was very encouraging, patient, and helpful with everyone in our group. He was also very concerned about our safety, but at the same time, made it really fun for all. I... More

Located just downstream of Salida is an adventure for all ages. Captain Zipline offers a really unique extreme challenge course and ziplines. I just took my 9 year old daughter and her friend on a morning of adventure. They had such a blast. There are so many obstacles and challenges that they stayed completely busy for hours. The guide was... More

Awesome! My husband and I had a blast on the aerial course. My husband is afraid of heights and still had a great time. They have different courses for different skill levels. Looking at the all the courses is probably the scariest part. They are very accommodating with tour times and we loved our guide Reya Sunshine! You are attached... More

We had a girls weekend in Salida to celebrate one of our friends 50th birthday. We were looking for something "out of the norm" to do to commemorate. We decided to Zipline. We had such a great time! The group we were booked with included us (50+) to young children. Our guides Derek and Rhea were so experienced, fun, patient,... More

My family of four had an incredible experience doing the challenge course at Captain Zipline. Tucked in a stunning canyon along the Arkansas River just downstream of Salida, the challenge course has hundreds of elements, more than we could cover in a morning tour. My kids (12 & 14) loved it and our guide Derek was great with the whole... More
