We went on 1/2 day cattle drive. We had the BEST time, the owner joined us and everyone was so nice. We loved our time out on the Saddleback Ranch, I would recommend it to anyone that enjoys horseback riding and beautiful landscapes!!

Great views, good horses and nice people. Books up fast so plan ahead. Kids need to wear helmets that are supplied.

Check in process was very smooth. Deb -- our trail guide -- did a great job of pairing horses with riders. We had a beautiful day of weather for the 2-hour trail ride. Gorgeous views, plenty of steer, one lone coyote, but no other wildlife.

Very friendly staff and great experience. My family were beginner's and they made us feel comfortable learning how to ride a horse. Highly recommend for all ages!

There were several on our trip that were 250+.... My husband is a big man (6' and 225lbs), so I called before we booked. Their answer was that they had accommodated "much bigger". Hope this helps :).

They give you basic training i.e. How to get on, hold the reins, sit, place your feet in the stirrups, turn the horse, make him go and stop and how to dismount. They don't really teach you how to ride, ride but it's a nose... More
