Loved the museum and the fact is told the history of Steamboat. A great walk through where you can watch videos of steamboats past as well as see how they lived

We stumbled on their "behind the scenes" tour from the local daily. It took you back into the artifacts not on display. The curator obviously loves her work and her knowledge and enthusiasm shows. Even without that, it was a great snapshot of Steamboat Springs...More

My grand children ages three to eight enjoyed the history hunt. My 70+year old husband enjoyed it, too.

This museum is small but has some really neat items. I enjoyed the old pictures and their captions. The kids really enjoyed the scavenger hunt!

Interesting presentations of pioneer lives and times, including some videos and audios that enhance the other exhibits. Includes a nice Victorian home. Spent about an hour and a half and was well worth the time and the reasonable fee. Parking available nearby on the street...More

There was so much history in one small building. Very well put together and very interesting. The Victorian house was a bonus and beautiful

We really enjoyed learning the history of Steamboat Springs and seeing how the settlers arrived. Worth every penny to step back in time.
