These falls are a hidden beauty. I probably should have waited a few days to get used to the altitude but it was worth the deep breathing. The creeks winding its way down the path is breathtaking. Will love to repeat this in the spring.

Fish Creek Falls is stunning. The walk down is really easy. I'd be nervous taking small children there because of the edges, but if they will stay close, you'll be fine. We decided to take the hike up the mountain to get to the lake...More

Took the overlook trail since it was a bit snowy and icy. Could definitely hear the falls but never actually saw them. It was a lovely walk however with snow covered trees. Weekend day so lots of families walking the trails.

Easy short walk down a paved path to get to the falls. It was beautiful with the aspens blooming all around. Very short drive from downtown Steamboat. Definitely worth a visit.

Very scenic, although awfully crowded, short drive from town, would like to check out the trails, someday?

Trail is part of the Routt National Forest. I would check with them first.
