I was here with my 2-year old boy, and he was just like say," amazing" in each way to go here. During our trip from Medan to here, our eyes were relaxed with the view of mount sibayak and rice fields.. I'm not go down...More

Oh, what a magnificent fall! Trekking down to the bottom of the waterfall was an excellent Idea too. The view gets better and better. The viewpoints from the top are fantastic, from one strategic point you could see the Sipiso Piso on your left and...More

We walked down to the bottom of the fall. We were exhausted when we climbed up but we felt it is worthwhile to have such an extraordinary experience in our life.

Yes, Sipiso Piso waterfall is simply gorgeous. From a certain angle, you get to see the waterfall and Lake Toba as a backdrop. That being said, the infrastructure there is unkempt and VERY run down. The stairs leading to the waterfall is cracked and very...More

I love Sipiso-Piso Waterfall. It might not be as wide as Niagara or Victoria Falls, but it's still quite scenic. It's as high as 120 meters and looks like a blade piercing right into the lush greenery surrounding it. The walk towards the waterfall is...More

For the Lake Toba trip, actually this Sipisopiso waterfall was much more beautiful overall, the view was just like In Europe. If you go to Lake Toba, better to visit this place as well.

Hi guys; I am visiting Lake Toba soon; I was wondering which would be an easier way to visit Sipiso Piso Waterfall as I have heard the roads can be quite challenging. Hence; would it be easier to see the waterfall along the way? or take a day trip there & return? 1) Medan > Sipiso Piso Waterfall (along the way) > Lake toba 2) Medan> Lake Toba > Sipiso Piso Waterfall (day trip) >Lake Toba Your inputs are greatly appreciated.
