It is nice to see where the less-than-one-percent hang out. The shops were over the top and the people watching was outstanding. Get a coffee and plunk yourself down for some real reality entertainment.

Telluride is a quaint little town in a beautiful mountain setting. It takes about 10 -15 minutes to walk Main Street. Plenty of shops, expect to pay resort prices except in the Thrift Stores.

Visited Telluride Main Street in early November. You had the feeling that the town is preparing for something big...like ski season. Nice park, sledding hill, trails nearby, shops, restaurants and a visitors center. I have a feeling parking is challenging during ski season. Very walkable small town.

I much prefer the feel of an old mining town to the Disney feel of Vail. Sure, Telluride has long since ceased to be "authentic," but the aesthetic quality here is still way higher.

Wow! Cruised up and down the main artery here and no life at all. This was mid-day and it looked like some of the businesses were open, though no street life at all. Very surprised, but soon headed back toward Dolores.

Telluride isn't necessarily the shopping Mecca of southern Colorado. But it has a charming downtown area for walking, window shopping, and the view right at streets end is unbeatable. A few local shops, def stop in the old pharmacy.

You walk down this street and it's full of bars, restaurants, shops, boutiques, parks and incredible views in all directions. There's even artists standing in the middle of the street painting the scenery.

Great little village. Lots of cool shops albeit a bit pricey but that to be expected in ski resort town. Tons of history and the architecture and style does a good job preserving the past. Very pedestrian and pet friendly.

I'm not that into retail / shopping, but the views along the main street stroll are gorgeous, especially in fall. Lots of natural fiber and high end boutique clothing, leather handbags, faux Native American stuff, etc. in the shops. Check ratings before choosing a place to eat - we wandered into High Pie and it was not so good. The... More
