If you have a jeep, do Black Bear Pass! The scenery is beautiful and you do not really appreciate the mountains unless you get into the heart of mountain!

This pass is a one way jeep road but a fun hike from town with waterfalls and great views. It takes a while in the summer for the snow to melt so check with locals before riding or driving over it.

We went on a half day trip from Telluride over Ophir Pass and back over Black Bear Pass with Telluride Outdoors. Our guide, Roger, was great.
