There is a $5 cover charge for adults and $3 for students. The building is special as it was an old hospital. The display of old hospital amenities was interesting. I wasn't impressed with the rest of the artifacts.

This was my first visit to Telluride, so I was eager to learn more about the history of this mining town. They told us about this guided tour at our hotel, so we headed over to purchase our tickets and arrived a bit early. Since...More

Not large but extremely informative! The displays were well planned out. Lots of artifacts local to the area, as well as photographs of past times. Behind the building is mining equipment which was pretty interesting. Most reasonable admission prices.

Chock full of history and beautiful exhibits. Well worth the walk up the hill and the $5 entry fee. The receptionist was very helpful.

We were in Telluride mainly to view Fall color. That was a little bit disappointing because we were a bit late -- too many leaves had fallen. So, we decided to visit the museum, not expecting much. But it proved well designed and very interesting,...More

A good review of the Telluride area, mining, gambling and red light area. Covers the medical, the freighters and the madams. Also a good explanation of the fight between Edison's DC electricity and Tesla's AC. Outside is an exhibit of mining equipment

As it's a historical museum housed in a historic building I'd doubt it, but perhaps if it was a service dog?? Give them a call.
