Went up here with a group of photographers and the views did not disappoint. The drive, to the top is a bit of a bumpy road and I was thankful someone else was driving, don't know how my little car would have faired on it....More

Really beautiful location, far from the highway. Super hikes all around. Bit of a bumpy dirt road drive to get there (which we think is fun, but may not be for everyone). Amazing wildlife. Fun to canoe and snowmobile.

As we went up the mountain, we saw several outfitters and their hunter clients camped to the side of the road, so we knew it would be a place to view the wilderness.

We attended a wedding. First - as others have said - the ride in and out is rough. We were in shuttles and it was a rough ride. But so worth it. We had rain, snow and sun all the same day. A beautiful place...More

Best advice: download the directions from Piney River Ranch website before you go! The drive is bumpy, but well worth it. Just take your time and enjoy the views along the way. We were able to take a last minute horseback ride up the mountain,...More
