If you come to Vail, take some time out to walk this path. It's gorgeous and the creek makes such beautiful noise.

We love the walk to and from town along the river. We also enjoy the beautiful homes along the way - and we've even encountered some elk!

I took the path from the Marriott down to the Cascade Village then back up to Vail Village. It runs along the partially frozen creek. Be careful of the icy conditions but this is a great walk to see Vail and the various villages.

We really enjoyed all of our Vail nature walks along the rec path. Clean with some access to Gore creek along the way. Definitely the highlight of our trip.

What's awesome about Vail is that you are entrenched in nature. Don't need to go anywhere or do anything. It's all right there. It's such a peaceful and tranquil place. Civilized beyond anything else. The town and surrounding areas are so well done you don't...More

We biked the path with Charter Sports from the summit of Vail Pass back into town. The path is smooth two-lane asphalt and it gets a lot of traffic in both directions. At one point the path parallels I-70 and at another you are on...More

Get ready for a perfect riding path - scenery, fresh air, exercise, well groomed trail. Biking, hiking, or other activity. A smart and valuable asset for locals and tourists by Vail and nearby towns - this path connects many surrounding towns, mountains, creeks and lakes.

Great for dogs. Not at all busy in the off-season. Be aware of curves as bikers can be moving quickly.

There are parking lots if that is what you mean. It is a walking path. Yes easy and level for children icy in spots in winter of course. Parking is extremely expensive in the winter also free in the off season last I heard.

Oh yeah! Though there may be times that there are more riders than other times, I can't imagine there being so many riders that you would feel unsafe. The trail is wide enough to accommodate a large number of people.
