Trick or Treat

Vail village has a nice assortment of shops, restaurants and places to stay. They also host the best trick or treat event that we have ever attended and it is free!

Just walking around the village is a wonderful pastime..... full of stores and nice views complemented by a number of good places for a drink or lunch or dinner.

We have been enjoying Vail since its "birth" and come as often as we can. Winter and Summer, Fall and Spring, the ever changing seasons with their special joys - can't ever get enough!

There is so much to do in Vail Valley. If you can think it up...you can do it here. It is now just about skiing. The rest of the year you have more to do than you can ever get done in a week long stay. You should visit for 2 weeks minimum. And the food is fantastic too.

We have loved Vail for over 40 years, and in spite of how much it has grown, it is always a side trip for us whenever we go to Denver. With great restaurants, shops, and hotels, as well as outdoor activities in all seasons, it is truly a treat to visit.

We stopped in Vail for the day in late May. It is an absolutely gorgeous town! I was worried it would be unaffordable for us to shop or eat there, but they have a nice range of stores and restaurants for all income levels. I thought everyone was so nice and friendly. I loved walking the streets without any traffic,... More

We're here every year for Oktoberfest and EVERY year it is so fun! The town is charming and there is so much to take in and do! Walking or biking along the Gore, take the gondola to the top for fun at Adventure Ridge or for lunch, shopping...EATING...all kinds of fun!

Went to Vail for the day - we were told there was a great farmer's market on Saturdays, well it is actually on Sundays! Still we had a good time wondering around the shops and restaurants in this very overpriced area. You can find deals if you look really hard!

Vail Valley is an experience in itself. Don't expect anything like you will find anywhere else in the US. This is as close to Europe as you'll get on home turf. The village is only accessible on foot although there is plenty of free parking available in summer. It is just a pleasure walking around and exploring what is around... More
