Best horseback riding experience ever! NewNew was phenomenal. She was fun, knowledgeable and loves her job. The horses were well taken care of and loved. We had Dolly and Tom. The trails are so cool....really authentic and we were given the most magical views. You must take the 2 hour ride. Highly recommended activity while in Vail. You will have... More

Horseback riding in the mountains always brings a different element to the experience. Taking a ride in the Fall offered a lifetime experience to take in the spectacular colors. This stable was tremendous- great horses and experienced guides.

Our trip would not have been complete without this amazing adventure!!! My sister-in-law and I enjoyed every minute of our hour and a half ride! She has a small fear of horses and I have a fear of heights so our guides Kurt and Nunu put us on the most gentle horses (Fancy & Brownie) and went out of their... More

We had 11 in our group ranging from no experience to very experienced and the staff put the right people on the right horses. This was by far the best trail ride experience and the weather was rainy just before the ride which made for the best scenery and riding above the clouds literally! In fact our group pic is... More

We had the most amazing horseback riding experience thanks to Vail Stables!! Their staff was so nice and accommodating! We did the 1 hour ride and it was the perfect amount of time for beginner riders while getting the most amazing views as we were guided up the mountain. Their horses were well behaved and treated so well. Definitely a... More

My wife and I spent two days hiking to Hanging Lake and Booth Falls so before we went to Piney Ranch we decided to let horses do the climbing for a change and it was so worth it. We had a wonderful time, the ride was excellent and the scenery incredible. It was an excellent value

My daughter and I are very experienced riders, and we thoroughly enjoyed this trip. Adrianna our guide was great. We loved talking "horse" with her! Our horses, Cash and Salt were extremley sure footed over the wet soil and rocks. It was nice to relax and ride instead of always working on something with our horses. Make sure you were... More

My daughter and I did the 1 hour horseback riding experience and it was fantastic. I had never ridden a horse and I was paired with a very sweet horse named Spot. My daughter had some experience and she rode the horse named Nip. The staff is friendly and our guides were knowledgeable and friendly as well. The horses are... More
