We have visited Windsor Lake in the summer. There are concerts Thursday nights and during the day there is a nice beach with water sports available and a nice playground for kids.

I walk my dog here regularly, 2 mile circle begins and ends in a beautiful park with a clean sand beach. Lots of family activity. Ice cream store a short block away on Main street.

While I did not try concessions here (food), we did rent paddle boards, a canoe, and a kayak. This is a great value. The lake isn't a clear mountain lake, but there is a decent small beach. We visited 2 hot summer days, and it...More

This is a beautiful alternative to going to Aspen or Breckenridge. You seem to get all the same amenities at a fraction of the price. It's worth checking out.

Yes, there are many things to do around here, but the lake itself is average or below. There's a lot of trash, the swimming portion leaves you with moss all over that itches pretty bad, and is overcrowded.

There is a sidewalk all the way around the lake, a beach for people and even a fenced in area along the water for a dog park.

I have been here last year and enjoy cycling out there with my mom. However, I found some dog's poo out there that's one thing interrupting me that day.

Walk around the Windsor Lake and refresh your mind. Not only the view toward the snow covered mountains is beautiful, but you will see several pelicans sitting on logs or swimming in the water.

Windsor Lake is a great place for a walk, a 5k run/jog, or even a great place to bring the kids and hang out with friends. Ideal location as downtown Windsor is just a short walk with great iconic stores to browse through
