It is wonderful to have a "neighborhood" bookstore with knowledgable salespeople who take a personal interest in your needs . They get to know you, your children and grandchildren! The monthly newsletter is terrific. Author readings and discussions are frequent. Book group recommendations are offered. The owner, Diane, well known in the community, creates a charity giving opportunity at holiday... More

The Borders Bookstore closed a couple of years ago - thank goodness Diane's is still here. It's your old time book store with plenty of new releases but also has all the old literary classics should you want to re-visit them. The staff are very friendly and seem content to either help find your request or simply let you browse.... More

For those of you still valuing a physical book this is one of the best places to go. Quaint place off Greenwich avenue. Huge selection of fiction and non-fiction . Don't know what to read, ask Diane or any of her colleagues for a knowledgeable recommendation. If they don't have your title you will get a personal phone call that... More

This is a tiny independent bookseller, the one we all loved and miss. Well here it still exists - you can get any type of recommendation, whether it's for your 5 year old reluctant reader or for your "I've read everything already" father-in-law. They gift wrap beautifully, have a newsletter and super nice staff. The parking is tough, wish they... More

It's a challenge to buy from a bookstore rather than online, but Diane and her staff are extremely helpful in selecting the right books to read ourselves or give as gifts to others

This is a small store but it is LARGE in service, selection, guidance, suggestions, etc. The staff at the store know their customers, their books and their business. I can never walk out of this store with just one book. Diane's books has been around for 25 years and I look forward to being with them for the next 25... More

We had heard about this place so it was the first stop on our walk along Greenwich Avenue. It was a great store full of books. There were rooms of books. I know that if my children were still small, h it would have captured their attention for hours. The staff was friendly and helpful - they obviously love books... More

I've lived in Greenwich 30+ years. I knew about this Bookstore but never went there. I discovered it recently and found it to be really wonderful place. It has several small rooms FULL of books of all kinds, and multiple copies of many popular books. I'm going to buy All 6 of my grand children books from this store for... More
