This property is actually part of University of Connecticut campus. Parking is free on weekends. We were there on a Saturday morning in June and pretty much had the vast ground to ourselves and a few other groups plus a few fishermen by the shore....More

Nice to walk on. Free. Follow path around the waters edge. It gets windy ladies! There are rocky side u can walk out on...so wear good shoes. Its a nice bonus for older kids to walk on the rocks. Nice for pictures too. Not packed...More

What an amazing view! One of my favorite things about Connecticut is the shoreline and all of the attractions. Avery Point is a great place to go if you need to relax or do some thinking. A hidden gem in our state!

We were visiting lighthouses in CT an this was one of the few that you could get too or get too with out a fee. nicely done. We have some great pictures and there were good facilities for make your visit plesent.

What a great place to see some spectacular views. The light is very nice too. A great place to take a nice walk.
