This is a lovely bricked path along the water and through the campus of the University of CT on Avery Point. There are benches to sit and enjoy the water views. Parking is limited for visitors but if you can find a place it is a pretty place to see the coastline.

Great for a quick stroll by the water! We were able to park in lot A and push our 7 month old baby in his stroller on the red brick walkway.

Very nice grounds that hug the coastline. Large parking lot at the edge makes it convenient. Nice sculptures are spread along the walkway that glides along the mini bluff along the water. While it does not feel like a destination in and of itself, as there is not much to do here other than take a stroll, it is a... More

The grounds of Avery Point (Uconn Campus) are spectacular. How many lighthouses can you spot? Avery Point, Ledge Light, New London Harbor, Race Rock, Little Gull... Be sure to bring your dog (on a leash) it's a great place to walk them!

The views and art sculptures and old architecture make this a plus to see. Take a bottle of wine and cheese/bread, spread a blanket close your eyes and you are thousands of miles away on an expensive holiday.

Our son attended the University of Connecticut but it definitely was not this campus! this campus sits on the river where there is a gorgeous view with a walkway that has art pieces, a harbor light and a view of a lighthouse out in the river. It is very peaceful and serene. The mansion on the property adds to the ambiance.

There are a lot of sculptures on this property. The water is so peaceful and you can walk down on the rocks to the water. I try to stop by here and walk when I am in this Navy town. I have seen people walk dogs, draw the breathtaking views and many people out just walking around. The Branford House... More
