There is free parking on Ropley green where there is cricket pitch and a children play ground At times during the year a fair is set up on the edge of the green. It is very popular with dog walkers and there are a number of walks you can start from here including passing Walshaw Lock , Ockham Mill and the River Wey going towards Pyrford in one Direction or Send in the other. It is suitable for all ages

It is a blessing to have The Green so close to the High Street. There is parking, so you can walk to the River Wey, plus walk around the great shops in the High Street. A playground for the kids, the famous Cricket pitch and nature all around.

Large spacious village green. Lots of space and nice riverside walks nearby. Good parking with a play and sports area. Facing the green is Eric Claptons childhood home.

We park opposite the cricket ground and walk via Pyrford lock, The Wey Canal to Pyrford Lock, (sometime enjoying a beer in The Anchor Pub), RHS Wisley, Ockham mill and back to Ripley.

Sadly spoilt last year by diddycoytes parking on the green

Ripley green park is easy to find, has plenty of parking and lots of walks through the woods for dog walking. Ripley green also hosts an annual bonfire night which attracts many people from the surrounding areas. It is very well run and also has a fun fair attend

This is a good walk from Ripley Green to either, along the canal to Pyrford Lock or, alternatively in the opposite direction to Newark Abbey.

Whether you take a seat and watch the cricket or just a stroll down to the river and along to the ruins of Newark Priory or the other way to the mill, Ripley Green is well worth a visit. All very peaceful and relaxing.
The green is tucked away behind the High Street so you need to watch for the signs to locate the green.
The village itself still has some of it's traditional shops and restaurants.
