Wonderful Chritmas Illumination

We drove through the park after the Sunset. The Christmas Illumination was wonderful. The Animal shapes, Buildings were all illuminated very artistically. Worth seeing

Hubbard Park provides a great outdoor getaway for people of all ages in Central CT. This historic Park, laid out by Frederick Olmsted, designer of Central Park, is the largest city park in the state. Unfortunately, the park was bisected by 691 well before we moved here, all but ruining Mirror Pond. Fortunately, the addition of improved filtration has lead... More

Beautiful park, wonderfully views !! We followed the road all the way up to Craig castle and my oh my what an absolutely magnificent view!! Totally worth the hike up there. We took the blue trail down and it follows the ridge down so you get to see wonderful views all the way down.

Best park in New England! Hubbard Park is the best park in all of Connecticut if not New England. I have been going to her party since I was a kid. They have the daffodil Festival in many other festivals throughout the year. In the winter they have a great display of lights. Castle Craig is the highest point from... More

One of the most beautiful places to hike in the state. Hike along a mountain ridge overlooking a majestic reservoir with a wooded Island to a castle tower. Plenty of space in the more developed portion of the park for picnicking.

The park is lovely, a nice place for cook outs and letting your kids run and play. There's lot of ducks and wildlife at the park and also there's a swimming pool. There's a nice place across the street to get pizza and ice cream. Brush up on your Spanish it's a large population of Latinos however, most speak English.... More

This park is a 1,800 acre park. a few trails, a lake, ponds and a reservoir surrounded by the Hanging Hills of Meriden give it some gorgeous scenes through out the year. Each season (in my opinion) give way to spectacular views. Especially from the observation tower known as Castle Craig. If you are in the area during the beginning... More
