This is one of my FAVORITE places to visit! It is always crowded so you want to get there early. There is ALWAYS a line! They have the best cider doughnuts and apple pies around, hands down!!

We had been to Mystic many times before so we were looking for a place we had not been to on previous visits. We saw the brochure for this cider mill and decided to take a ride there. The mill is the oldest steam powered...More

Located in Old Mystic, CT B.F. Clyde's is a great place to visit in the fall to watch the stem powered apple press in action. Fresh cider donuts, apple cider, hard cider, breads, muffins, pies, and kettle corn await. Get there around 11:00 am if...More

My husband enjoyed the free wine tasting and we both enjoyed a sliced apple with creamy caramel. Would have been 5 star but the mill was "closed for cleaning" but no one was in it cleaning.

When visiting this location, plan in advance. TA guide advised it was open Saturday 7-4. We took a 45 minute drive to find Closed private property no trespassing. My only take on this seems the company has gone out of business.

Unfortunately, it was closed due to the season. Nevertheless, we enjoyed walking the property and took several pictures.

Demonstrations of steam powered apple press for those able to postpone a visit to the shop before the apple pies disappear. Also, wonderful condiments and preserves. Strawberry Rhubarb one of my favorite non-apple offerings. Crowded on weekends but worth parking on the road (if necessary)...More

Clydes is usually open right up until Christmas and then closes until the following season. I enjoy going at the end because of their mark downs. A must see when visiting Southeastern CT in December!
